Chuy (pronounced CHEWIE)

Hello. Here's another oldie from the same old project. This is Chuy, the Chupacabra. He's a goat-sucking gasbag...who is, actually, a really nice guy. Give him a chance, won't cha?! (just keep small furry animals away from him around mealtime)

In your P shot doodle is that you> and in 2002 are you in there?

You are so good. Do you sell these anywhere? You really have to give me some tips about using Illustrator.

How do you like your new job. I'm on day 2 of mine. It's busy, but I love it. How bout you?

Marty, got your email and will write you back tomorrow night. TOO TIRED this evening. Your new blog looks awesome and I will update my links later to show it off. Your work always (ALWAYS!!!) makes me smile. Everyone, go see Marty's blog!

Trixie: No, the PShop doodle is not of me. Not at all! And I cannot find the other doodle you mentioned though I do remember it. AND, if it's somewhere on my site, let me know!! I did a doodle of myself in that, but it was more idealized than reality based.

This guy is growing on me. Maybe it's the big freindly/evil orange eyes. Maybe it's the cake sprinkle hair. Maybe it's the ominious lean that says I'm gonna ATTACK!! or shake your hand in a pleased-to-meetcha kind of way. Whatever it is I like it. Now, about this posting old stuff. Enough already. We love the old stuff, don't get me wrong, just stop teasing us. If you're out of ideas (yeah right) I could help out. Maybe something with a cactus...hmmm...

You are awesome. Keep em coming.

Just wondering... did you get my last email? I was curious as to what software you're using as I'm looking into picking out some. I know you've been really busy with your new job, so I understand... but please email me back when you get a moment.

Nice doodle btw!
Thanks!

Beautiful blog, beautiful site, beautiful homepaga.

The color scheme is perfect. Your characters are so inventive and enjoyable.

Visiting your site takes a lot of sadness away from life.

Thanks.

paige said...

thanks, you guys! It's so very nice hearing from you all. Especially since many of you lead me to your own blogs...and now, I will never leave my home. I will just spend my evenings browsing your beautiful art pages.

Chia, thanks and no. Didn't have a booth at the Con but I was there oogling over everything in Artists Alley area. Maybe next year.

Alex: Nah, has absolutely nothing to do with Star Wars, it's just shortened version/ nickname from what the beast is called. "Chewie" is also a light play on the fact that he might like to munch on small animals
